I cant say finally 2008 im not even expecting anything from 2008 except for my age increasing by 1 again. Another year another set of challenges for us. Well with God’s help we can success in this challenges God will always provide a way we just have to seek for it. Well my December 31 ‘07 is near perfect hoping my January 1 ‘08 will be perfect too. I didn’t like my 2007 much hopefully my 2008 will be as good as my 2006! Well thats all! Laterz! Happy new year once again!

14 people contributed for the DCWareZ funds in order for us to purchase our very own gigabit switch. Thanks to all who paid! We will be using it in the up coming 3rd LanParty in January so stay tuned! Next venue will be at Chiboy’s Internet Cafe!

Its officially 12 midnight! And that means its already December 22! 18 more hours till DCWareZ’ 2nd LanParty! DCWareZ is the 2nd LanParty group of Davao the 1st one is the DCMoDz sounds familiar? Most of them are retired already from being a total PC fanatic but their website administrator Andrew Ong is my 1st cousin and i already have invited him in our first LanParty but he cannot join the second one due to having another party at his office. DCWareZ first LanParty was a success! Hoping the 2nd and the coming LanParty will be as successful as the first one. DCWareZ admin is Eman Porio AKA [-erick-], Harris Masulot AKA HarrisTGP, Romulo Villanueva AKA Mulong & Your very own Karlo Sobiaco AKA karLpOx.

2 Days till LanParty!

After our first successful lan party last November 24-25, 2007. We the admin’s of DCWareZ are already planning our next lan party and DCWareZ will now have our monthly lan party.

Our first lan party was on A64 AKA Monster Modz located at Palma Hill BO Obrero Davao City Philippines. We started at November 24, 2007 8:00 PM and ended on November 25, 2007 6:00 AM. None of us got tired in the lan party everyone was very active. We enjoyed lots of file sharing from Eman’s Kandalf Rig with 6 HDDS, Chiboy’s LianLi V2000 with 5 HDDS and many more. We also played games such as Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source, Call of Duty 4 and the best game as of now Crysis. We enjoyed playing COD4 until my inverter turned out and the whole venue smelled something being burned. We have our snacks there and lots of fun. So we are planning a better lan party for the DCWareZ members this time packed with our very own Christmas party. This time many DCWareZ members are eager to join its now double the party, double the people and double the fun! See you on December 22, 2007 @ Blinque probably!

Thanks all for making the LP successful!

Today is another day of practice for us the programming team of UIC. The programming team of UIC is devided into 2 teams namely Sitiritsit Autobots with Team Leader & Algorist Mechelle Dimas, second algorist Aldred Jay Donayre & me the coder Karlo Jesus Sobiaco, and the second team which is Alibangbang Descepticons with Team Leader & Algorist Dennies Claro, seonc alrogist Jopal Matthew Dumanig and coder/algorist Ronald Borla. We the programming team of UIC have already represented our school in the ACM competition last sembreak the Autobots ranked 21st and Descepticons 23rd, and UIC ranked 10th natio wide. The UP Diliman took the CUP and was sent to Singapore to represent the Philippines in the International ACM Programming competition. And now we are practicing again for this Saturday’s Event (December 8, 2007) for the PSITS Programming competition at Ateneo De Davao University. We are doing our best to win the competition. Our past experience will be very helpful to us since we already know how things work in competitions. With the right algorithm & God’s help everything is possible. God bless to us all players.
